Wow, what a trip. Okay, we went to Texas with band and choir, left on the 21st and came home yesterday (yes, it was way too short). I had SUCH a blast there. I went on my first plane ride ever. It was pretty exciting for me, even though I had to sit next to a weird guy who wasn't exactly that nice, but that was only on the way there. When we got there I went right to sleep and everything. The hotel was pretty nice, except the service was pretty crappy and the elevators were terrible. The next day we went to Sea World. We went to the Shamu show, went on a ride or two (I only went on one of the two roller coasters), and did some more stuff. Mr. Fong hung out with us while we were there, and we all had a really great time. We also went on the log flume. It was a REALLY long wait but it was worth it because it was so damn hot out that day. After that we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and everyone was singing and dancing there, it was a really good time. Then when were done eating we got to see the riverwalk (only from the street, which is the top) for the first time. I thought it was so awesome looking, and it was. It was great. There were mariachi bands playing on the boats too, which was really cool to see. Then we went home, slept, and were back up for breakfast the next day. After that, we went to the choir thing. Then, we went to the Alamo. It was pretty awesome. The scenery was really nice and we got to meet Beans from Even Stevens, which was pretty cool too. Then, we went to the Riverwalk which was only a couple blocks down and we stayed there for a few hours. I had so much fun there, because we got to walk around, shop, and see the things that we don't always get to see in NJ. Afterwards, we walked back to the Alamo to meet and get back on the buses and everything and went back to the hotel to get ready for the Fiesta Flambeau parade. It was INSANE! There were over 500,000 people there. They were all cheering and screaming, "Welcome to San Antonio!" and they were so happy and everything. I couldn't believe the number of people, or that I was in such a huge parade! After that we went to a buffet. Steak, chicken, and everything else but those were the best things they had. We went back to the hotel for a while, and then went to bed, and then got up the next morning (doesn't that suprise you?). We ate and everything and then went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was SUCH a blast (until I lost my cell phone, but I didn't let that put too much of a damper on it.) We also met a friend named Lorenzo there, because he was working. I went on two roller coasters, the big thing that shoots you up in the air, which was AWESOME, and the log flume. We hung out most of the time, it was so cool just being there. I got burnt, but I still had a great time. After Six Flags we went to a Mexican resturant and got pretty nasty Mexican food, and ate it anyway because I was really hungry. Then, we headed back to the Alamo where we saw a prostitute get arrested as we were walking down to our tour boat. Our tour guide was SO great. He made the tour really fun. The scenery was even nicer from the river. After the boat ride we went back to the hotel and were able to hang out for a while. Then, we went to bed, woke up for breakfast, and hung out until it was time to leave. The plane ride on the way home sort of sucked because a lot of people weren't feeling well, poor Leah fainted, and the ride was really bumpy. It looked cool being over the clouds though (this time I could see the clouds becuase it was day, the ride there was at night). It was a really great experience and I became closer with a lot of people. I'm so glad we went and I wouldn't change one second of it even if I could! :P (Except maybe I'd skip out on the whole losing the cell phone thing). Anyway, that's my unforgettable trip to San Antonio, Texas!
Just pasted this from my myspace for those who look at this and not my myspace... I'm almost certain no one looks at this but that's okay. :D
